Stephen Hanson and Jeffrey Epstein’s Connections

4 weeks ago 0

Stephen Hanson, a prominent figure in the restaurant industry with notable establishments such as Blue Water Grill and Ruby Foo’s, engaged in a variety of services for women, including job placements and entertainment arrangements. The longstanding relationship between Hanson and Jeffrey Epstein, as revealed by Department of Justice files, spanned many years and involved numerous interactions, including vacations together like a 2013 trip to Las Vegas.

In 2012, Epstein requested the delivery of Zweigle’s Pop Open hot dogs from his Manhattan townhouse to his New Mexico Zorro Ranch via private jet. Hanson, leading a thriving Manhattan restaurant empire at the time, personally ensured the delivery. Epstein’s private chef had coordinated the details via email, highlighting the importance of these hot dogs for Epstein’s lunch.

During that August weekend, Epstein also requested Hanson’s assistance for a woman tasked with delivering a misplaced wallet. Documents from the Department of Justice’s investigation indicate that this woman later received settlements from funds for Epstein’s victims.

The Justice Department’s records provide insight into Epstein’s transactional dealings with influential men. Billionaires like Victoria’s Secret’s Les Wexner and equity investor Leon Black played roles in expanding Epstein’s wealth. Meanwhile, figures such as Woody Allen and former British prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor offered social connections.

Hanson, as shown by numerous emails and texts exchanged with Epstein over a decade, provided entry to the food and hospitality sector. He was also known for enjoying the company of women and had the resources to facilitate their management and entertainment.
