The United States initiated new assaults on Iran last night. Tehran responded by targeting American locations throughout the Middle East. This marks the second consecutive day of military action following the recent downing of a U.S. military helicopter.
Closure of Strait of Hormuz
Iran’s military declared that the Strait of Hormuz is now closed to marine traffic. This strategic channel had been largely restricted due to war activities. However, U.S. Central Command asserts that the waterway remains operational.
Trump’s Warning
President Trump warned that the U.S. would deliver severe attacks against Iran. He emphasized that Iran’s prolonged negotiation delays would result in repercussions.
Iran’s Missiles Target U.S. Forces in Jordan
“12 ballistic missiles were launched at the locations where American F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets are stationed, as well as key facilities of the American military at Al Azraq air base and its control center,” the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed.

Following temporary closure amid Iranian assaults, Kuwait has reopened its airspace. Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation cited the dissipation of the conditions that prompted the closure. Operations at Kuwait International Airport have resumed with ongoing situation assessments.

The United States conducted what it described as ‘self-defense strikes.’ This action follows the downing of an American Apache helicopter by an Iranian drone over the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump stated Iran would face consequences for the attack.
