U.S. Military Actions in Iran Conflict

An Iranian cargo vessel was reportedly attacked by U.S. forces in the Gulf of Oman, as stated by the governor of Iran’s Sirik county, via the news agency Mehr. The vessel, a 150-ton dhow carrying essential supplies, was struck five nautical miles off Khasab port. Nearby ships rescued the five crew members and transported them to Oman.

Military Activities in Jordan

The Jordanian military announced intercepting 20 missiles launched by Iran toward the Azraq area, home to an American base. These interceptions were executed without causing injuries or damage from debris. Earlier, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for targeting the U.S. command center, making various assertions about its success in damaging American facilities.

Civilian Casualties in Bahrain

The Bahraini government reported that debris from an intercepted Iranian drone caused minor injuries to an 11-year-old girl. These incidents damaged property and ignited fires in residential areas. These drone interceptions occurred alongside incoming attacks from Iran as part of its retaliation against earlier U.S. actions.

Three Indian mariners perished when their tanker was struck by U.S. military forces. This confrontation comes from the tanker accused of violating the American blockade. India has expressed grievance over the loss; searches continue for missing personnel.

Despite Iranian assertions, U.S. Central Command confirmed the continuous passage of commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump mentioned efforts to facilitate the movement of strategic oil supplies, asserting that considerable amounts have been transported amid rising tensions.
