A North Carolina judge has issued an arrest order for Jen Belichick, daughter-in-law of New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. She allegedly missed a court date for a speeding ticket. Jen, married to the North Carolina Tar Heels football defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, was stopped by highway patrol on May 21 in Brunswick County, reportedly for driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone, according to court records.
Her failure to attend the scheduled court session for her misdemeanor speeding charge led to the arrest order. A court official mentioned that Jen now has three options: she can request the order be withdrawn, hire legal representation to contest the charge, or surrender to authorities.
Jen Belichick, married to Steve for over a decade and a mother of several children, is reportedly involved in a conflict with Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. The tension reportedly escalated following a disagreement over an interview with Bill Belichick conducted by CBS News in May. Further encounters between Jen and Hudson were reported to have taken place in the Tar Heels head coach’s office.
