1 month ago 0

On July 14, 2026, court records have confirmed that E. Jean Carroll has received her $5 million judgment from former President Donald Trump. This development follows more than three years after a jury found Trump liable for the sexual abuse and defamation of Carroll.

The funds, once held in a court escrow account, have now been disbursed to Carroll’s attorneys. With interest, the total amount reached $5,625,005.48.

This case originated in 2022 when Carroll filed a suit in New York. She alleged Trump sexually assaulted her in a Manhattan department store dressing room in 1996. Additionally, she accused Trump of defaming her in 2019 after she made the allegations public. Trump denies knowing Carroll or engaging in any wrongdoing.

Attorneys for both parties have been contacted for comment. Further updates on this story are expected as developments occur.
