Bodycam Footage of Tiger Woods’ Arrest

On March 27, during a DUI arrest in Jupiter Island, FL, bodycam footage captured Tiger Woods in a dazed and disoriented state following a rollover crash. Criminal defense attorney Donna Rotunno analyzed the video, focusing on Woods’ peculiar claim of speaking with the President and assessing the legal obstacles prosecutors face to establish impairment. This is notably challenging due to the absence of a positive alcohol test.

Tony Romo’s OWI Arrest

Tony Romo, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, recently made headlines for an alleged offense ahead of the 2026 NFL season. On Thursday night, Romo was arrested in Milwaukee for allegedly operating while intoxicated. According to reports, he was stopped on a highway and did not perform well on field sobriety tests as per FOX6 in Milwaukee. He has been released and is scheduled for a court appearance on September 21.

The arrest coincided with the final round of the Wisconsin Amateur Championship golf tournament, where Romo participated. Known for his strong skills as a golfer, Romo had recently played in the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament.

Performance at the Golf Tournament

Though Romo usually spends his offseason on a golf course, his performance at the tournament was a disappointment. Reports indicated he finished 35-over par and earned only $60. Such a scorecard is surprising even for an amateur golfer like Romo.

The course conditions appeared challenging, as the winner finished at +3 and the cut-line was set at +15. This paints a picture of a difficult tournament environment.

Reflection on the Incident

Watching an athlete like Tony Romo register a +35 at a golf tournament and facing an OWI arrest underscores a tough sequence of events. Drinking and driving is never advisable with alternatives like Uber widely available. Following a 12-over performance in the final round, Romo’s circumstances were certainly less than ideal.
