2 weeks ago 0

Neil Hershman, CEO of 16 Handles, discussed the revival of frozen yogurt, emphasizing its growing appeal due to health benefits. Modern frozen yogurt offers probiotics, fewer calories, and higher protein content. This positions it as a gut-friendly and nutritious treat.

16 Handles has attracted customers with a self-serve model, offering 16 distinct flavors and over 50 toppings, including innovative kefir options. The demand for such diverse choices has surged, as consumers seek healthy indulgence without compromising taste.

Many Americans are willing to spend up to $20 for frozen yogurt enriched with premium ingredients like pistachio cream and olive oil. According to The Wall Street Journal, Greek frozen yogurt, which offers more protein than regular froyo, is gaining popularity. The trend includes lavish toppings and stylish presentations, matching its price.

Instagram digital creator @f00dme shared positive experiences at Birdie’s frozen yogurt shop in New York City, noting that while initial prices seemed high, the value increased with premium toppings like mochi bites and pistachio sauce.

Go Greek, launched in 2012, promotes health revolution ideals. Its self-serve Greek frozen yogurt bar offers sugar-free toppings, aiming to provide guilt-free indulgence. The global frozen yogurt market, valued at $1.93 billion in 2025, is expected to reach $2.65 billion by 2034.

Despite typically lower fat content, frozen yogurt may contain high sugar levels. However, emerging upscale ingredients like real vanilla bean are reviving interest.

By 2025, the global market is valued at $1.93 billion and projected to grow to $2.65 billion by 2034.
