Big Cass returned to WWE’s ‘Monday Night Raw’ after an extended absence, making a significant impact. After nearly ten years away, his return had been heavily anticipated. Cass made his mark by attacking Je’Von Evans after Evans’s match against Ethan Page.
Big Cass’s Statement
In a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond, Cass expressed his determination. ‘Eight years. I was left for dead in the dirt. Eight years it took me to get back here from rock bottom,’ he stated. Cass clarified that his attack on Evans was not personal. ‘Je’Von Evans – nothing personal, bro. You were just in the way. Make no mistake. I am here to stack bodies. You were just the first. You surely won’t be the last.’
Other Notable Returns
Big Cass was not the only wrestler making a comeback. Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer also returned to the ring on Monday.
Lynch appeared after a match involving Roxanne Perez and Sol Ruca. Liv Morgan tried to interfere, resulting in Perez’s disqualification. As The Judgment Day targeted Ruca, Lynch intervened, announcing her intention to challenge Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
Following this, Stephanie Vaquer entered the scene and confronted Morgan. She also took the opportunity to strike Rodriguez and Perez as the trio retreated.
Lynch and Vaquer ended the night with a tense standoff in the ring, indicating the emergence of two challengers for Morgan’s title.
