Senator Mitch McConnell, representing Kentucky, announced his release from a rehabilitation facility on Thursday. He will now focus on recuperating at his residence. McConnell, affiliated with the Republican Party, has been absent from his Senate duties since June 14 when he sustained injuries from a fall at his home.
This absence marks nearly two months without his presence in the Senate. Last year, McConnell was seen again participating in a hearing held on Capitol Hill.
