Mustafa Ali and Jason Hotch engaged in a fierce battle during their match at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s (TNA) Lockdown for the International Championship. The intense rivalry between Ali and Hotch escalated after Hotch initially dethroned Ali as the champion, holding the title briefly before Ali sought revenge at Lockdown.
In a dramatic moment, Ali took a stuffed toy from Hotch’s daughter in the stands, stirring emotions as he threatened to burn the toy. This mind game seemed to give Ali the edge he needed to counter Hotch’s attacks.
The match witnessed extraordinary moves, including Ali diving out of the cage to land on Hotch. Despite Hotch providing thrilling moments, such as leaping onto Ali from the top of the cage, it was Ali who managed to end the match with a 450 splash, successfully pinning Hotch.
Ali’s victory marked the start of his second reign as the TNA International Champion. His previous stint lasted 110 days before Hotch briefly took over earlier in the summer.
