President Donald Trump has criticized voters who are against data centers. He claims those who oppose them risk ‘killing the golden goose.’ His comments came on Monday as he increased his support for these facilities.
Polls indicate many Americans across the political spectrum are opposed to data centers. These centers are essential for the growth of artificial intelligence. The opposition has led some Republicans, running in current elections, to break away from Trump’s stance. They have become more critical of data centers, reflecting the growing public dissatisfaction.
President Trump made these remarks during a recent visit to the Johnson Space Center in Houston. There, he also presented the Congressional Space Medal of Honor to members of the Artemis II crew.
