Vice President JD Vance’s mother, Beverly Vance Aikins, expressed her frustration with Michigan Democratic Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed’s repeated attacks on Vance and his family. During an interview with Outkick and Fox News host Tomi Lahren, Aikins shared her emotional reaction to El-Sayed’s remarks.
“I’d probably punch the guy if I ever seen him and then that would get me in trouble,” Aikins stated, humorously addressing how she felt about El-Sayed’s comments. She stressed that the criticisms made her angry because she knows the type of person JD Vance is.
Aikins was interviewed about various topics, including her battle with opioid addiction and her son’s journey to becoming vice president. Her comments came as El-Sayed targeted Vance’s family.
El-Sayed recently made disparaging remarks about Second Lady Usha Vance and the Vance children during an appearance on “The Allen Analysis Show.” He questioned Vance’s political views, suggesting they were incompatible with his children’s biracial background. El-Sayed also encouraged Vance’s wife to leave him.
Aikins responded to these attacks by stating, “I think they’re jealous, honestly. JD is 42 years old, he’s handsome, he’s the Vice President of the United States.” She added that jealousy seemed to be a factor in the criticisms, as Vance has a loving family.
Vice President JD Vance addressed El-Sayed’s recent remarks during a rally for GOP Senate nominee Mike Rogers in Michigan. He criticized El-Sayed’s comments about his wife, telling him, “keep my wife’s name the hell out of your mouth, because she’s way out of your league.”
Fox News Digital attempted to contact the Vice President’s office and El-Sayed’s campaign for further comments.
