DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers’ Fascination with Conspiracy Theories

DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers share a unique connection, both on and off the field, as teammates for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their bond extends beyond football, delving into the realm of conspiracy theories. In a recent interview with The Athletic, wide receiver Metcalf revealed his belief in the existence of another civilization operating within the Earth.

Metcalf’s theory centers around the Hollow Earth concept, suggesting that Antarctica’s restricted access serves as evidence of this hidden world. He noted the difficulty in booking trips to Antarctica, a fact which he finds curious and indicative of something beyond the ordinary.

“I’m a big conspiracy theorist. Shout out to my quarterback,” Metcalf shared, hinting at a shared interest with Rodgers. “I think it’s another world. I think there is another civilization inside of Earth.”

Despite Metcalf’s enthusiasm, experts generally dismiss the Hollow Earth theory, citing lack of scientific proof. Nevertheless, Metcalf remains intrigued by the mystery surrounding Antarctica’s limited tourism and the sporadic presence of world leaders there.

The Athletic mentioned that travel to Antarctica is possible seasonally, primarily via ship, between November and March. Although trips are feasible, they pointed out that commercial flights do not operate there, and non-commercial flights are managed by governments.

Metcalf questioned the significance of international meetings held in Antarctica, pondering why such gatherings occur in this remote location. The publication noted a lack of verifiable evidence regarding these meetings but acknowledged occasional distinguished visitors to Antarctica.

Metcalf clarified that his quarterback, Rodgers, is not responsible for his interest in conspiracy theories, highlighting that he has long been engaged with them.

The fascination with topics like the Hollow Earth theory provides a unique bond between Metcalf and Rodgers, one untouchable by any NFL defense.
