Kamala Harris Criticizes the Trump Administration
In a recent Democratic fireside chat, former Vice President Kamala Harris harshly criticized the Trump administration. She described it as ‘the most corrupt, callous, and incompetent presidential administration we’ve ever seen.’ Joe Concha, a contributor to Fox News, responded by calling her language ‘dangerous.’ He highlighted past assassination attempts on President Trump and urged her to moderate her rhetoric due to increasing political violence.
Security Incident at Harris’ Malibu Home
Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies responded to a security concern at Harris’ Malibu residence. An unidentified woman appeared twice uninvited. Initially dropped off by an Uber, she tried to reach security at Harris’ $8 million home but was asked to leave. Returning later, the security team contacted the authorities past 10 p.m., although the woman was not arrested, according to FOX 11.
Lt. Jason Duron stated, ‘We are stepping up patrols of the property to be safe.’
Changes in Secret Service Protection
President Donald Trump ended Harris’ Secret Service protection a year ago. This came after former President Joe Biden extended it a year beyond the usual six months for former vice presidents. Harris spokesman Eduardo Negrón expressed gratitude for the swift response by law enforcement and mentioned that Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were not home at the time of the incident.
Neither Harris nor former second gentleman Emhoff was present during the security breach. The couple purchased their Malibu property last January. Originally from California, Harris has held positions as District Attorney of San Francisco, Attorney General of California, and a senator before joining Biden’s presidential campaign.
