AEW Wrestler Benjamin Satterley Passes Away

Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and formerly as Neville in WWE, recently passed away, leaving a significant impact on the wrestling community. The 40-year-old wrestler’s memory was honored during a recent episode of ‘Monday Night Raw’ where Penta, his former competitor, paid tribute by displaying ‘Pac’ on his left boot during a tag team match.

Prior to his passing, AEW paid tribute to Satterley by announcing his death on Sunday night. During his career, Satterley competed against notable wrestlers such as Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship. His death was followed by a tribute graphic from WWE at the start of ‘Monday Night Raw.’

Originating from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004. He quickly gained fame with his innovative aerial maneuvers and impressive in-ring performances. Satterley joined AEW in 2019 and was known for captivating fans worldwide. He was a pivotal member of the promotion, having held multiple AEW Championships, including the inaugural All-Atlantic Championship.

Cited from a statement by All Elite Wrestling, “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.”

The Des Plaines Police Department confirmed that there was no foul play involved in his death. The California Post reported that Satterley was found unresponsive outside a CAVA restaurant, and he was pronounced dead on arrival. The cause of death is under investigation by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Before joining AEW, Satterley made a name for himself in WWE as Neville. His accolades include being a two-time Cruiserweight Champion, NXT Champion, and a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion. Satterley was among the first to sign with AEW, capturing titles and participating in some of the most memorable matches in the promotion’s history.

Condolences have poured in from his fans and fellow wrestlers, highlighting the legacy Satterley leaves behind in the realm of professional wrestling.
