Hearts were heavy at the start of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite on Wednesday as the company and its wrestlers paid tribute to Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac, who passed away over the weekend at age 40. He died Sunday after AEW’s All Out pay-per-view event.

The wrestlers gathered on stage, listening to broadcaster Tony Schiavone. He shared touching words about Pac, highlighting his contributions and presence in the wrestling community. This emotional tribute set the tone for the evening as fans and viewers remembered Pac’s legacy.

Neville, later known as Pac, in 2017Schiavone then directed attention to a poignant promo by Jon Moxley. Moxley shared heartfelt words after losing an AEW World Championship match to Will Ospreay, reflecting on wrestling and life.

“I gave everything I had. I took every shot to the best of my ability. I have no regrets. Will Ospreay is indomitable. You’re gonna lose in wrestling. You’re gonna lose in life. What are you gonna do? You gotta smile, get up tomorrow and do it again, give it your best every single day because every single day is a gift.”

Moxley spoke passionately about the opportunity to perform in front of sold-out crowds in cities like Chicago, New York, and Tokyo. He cherished the camaraderie with teammates and the unique chance to engage with the audience.

He concluded by emphasizing the significance of their craft and the future of professional wrestling. He urged his fellow wrestlers to seize their opportunity and make the most of their talents.

After the promo, Moxley left the ring with his stablemates, Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Pac nearby. This was the final moment Pac graced AEW cameras.

As the night continued, Moxley defended the AEW Continental Championship against Orange Cassidy. In honor of Pac, a chair was left empty on the side of the arena. Moxley emerged victorious, retaining the title after a hard-fought battle.

The occasion took an even more emotional turn when AEW legend Bryan Danielson made an entrance, clearly affected by the night’s events. Danielson and Moxley shared a heartfelt hug in the ring, putting aside past rivalries to pay tribute to Pac. This moment underscored the deep respect and camaraderie in the wrestling community.

The tribute to Pac was a reminder of the impact a wrestler can have on peers and fans alike. The evening celebrated his life, his contributions to wrestling, and the bonds among those who knew him.

Neville, later known as Pac, in 2017Ryan Gaydos, a senior editor for Fox News Digital, reported on the tribute, capturing the essence of the night’s events.
