Monet Mazur experienced a home invasion at her Hollywood Hills residence recently. Police responded to the incident at around 11:30 p.m., according to information shared with Fox News Digital. The suspects reportedly tried to enter the property while someone was inside, but fled before officers arrived on the scene.
The actress, known for her role in “All-American,” reportedly used security camera footage to spot three suspects in black clothing and ski masks. Although reports differ, it’s suggested that either Mazur confronted them, causing them to flee, or that an alarm triggered by the suspects’ attempt to open the front door led them to leave. No items were taken, and there were no injuries. Officers who arrived later did not find any suspects.
In a similar incident, Olympian Simone Biles’ Chicago home was burglarized, with her Porsche GTS stolen. The car was eventually recovered. Biles has since enhanced her home security, including acquiring a Doberman Pinscher protection dog.
“A protection dog in a home break-in can detect intruders much earlier than humans,” said Stephen Scott, founder of Scott’s K9.
Scott emphasized that trained protection dogs act as an advance warning system. They offer homeowners extra time to respond to threats. Scott also cautioned against sharing personal information online, which can increase vulnerability to home invasions.
