Krispy Kreme Settles Data Breach Lawsuit

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has agreed to a settlement of $1.6 million in response to a class-action lawsuit related to a data breach in November 2024. This breach allegedly exposed sensitive information, including names, birth dates, social security numbers, and financial details.

Who Can Claim?

The settlement is open to U.S. residents who received a notification about the breach affecting their personal information. Those able to provide documentation showing financial loss due to fraud or identity theft from the breach can qualify for the highest compensation.

Compensation Details

Claimants submitting documentation of their losses might receive as much as $3,500. Without documentation, claimants are eligible for a cash payment of $75.

How to Apply

Time is running out to file a claim. The deadline for submissions is June 26, with the last day to object or opt out being June 6.
