Felix Rosenqvist’s Busy Week Following Indy 500 Victory

Felix Rosenqvist, fresh from his triumph at the 110th Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 24, 2026, finds himself in Detroit for the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix. His schedule has been packed since achieving the most significant win of his career.

“It’s tiring, yet incredibly rewarding,” Rosenqvist shared regarding his whirlwind week.

Following his victory, Rosenqvist faced a slew of media obligations. Interviews extended several hours after the race and continued into the following days. On Monday, he engaged in more interviews, a photoshoot, and attended the Victory Celebration in the evening.

His commitments did not end there. Rosenqvist traveled to New York for further interviews, visiting landmarks like the Empire State Building and Times Square. He even attended the red-carpet premiere of “Pressure,” the new movie by Indy 500 Grand Marshal Brendan Fraser. Additionally, he returned to Indianapolis duties, including throwing the first pitch at a Tigers game before heading to Detroit for the Grand Prix weekend.

Amidst this hectic schedule, Rosenqvist also celebrated a personal milestone, becoming a father just two weeks ago. Despite the exhaustion, he remains optimistic and sees his current role as an ambassador for motorsports.

“When the opportunity is there, you have to take it,” he remarked, emphasizing how his success benefits the sport.

Rosenqvist aims to build on the momentum from his Indianapolis victory, a thrilling event noted for its closest finish in history. He aspires to become the first to win the race immediately following the Indy 500 in recent times. However, he faces this challenge starting from the 16th position at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix.
