Kennedy Center Instructs Removal of Trump’s Name

The Kennedy Center recently issued a directive to its staff to eliminate President Donald Trump’s name from various materials associated with the performing arts venue. This move requires changes to be implemented in signs, brochures, the website, and other related documents.

A memo from the Kennedy Center’s general counsel outlined the steps to be taken. Staff members are tasked with completing these changes by June 12. Additionally, email signatures and letterhead must be updated immediately to reflect this decision.

In February, Trump’s name was prominently displayed on the Kennedy Center facade in Washington. The new policy seeks to remove all such references.
