Joe Coffey has joined Major League Wrestling (MLW) alongside the Gallus stablemates, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. The trio rebranded themselves as Glasgow Boys on Top (GBOT) and aim to win titles in MLW. Previously with WWE until May 2025, Coffey now seeks more character development and storytelling opportunities with MLW.
“I feel like I want more character development,” Coffey expressed to Fox News Digital. “The past couple of years felt wasted. I have a lot to offer, so do Mark and Wolfgang.” He appreciates the collaboration with Court Bauer, the company’s promoter, and sees MLW as the perfect fit.
Coffey aspires to quickly win a title and hopes the same for his group, GBOT. “I hope I have a title soon,” he stated. “We aim for pure dominance in the ring. As Conor McGregor once said, we’re here to take over.” Coffey is eager to demonstrate his capabilities, citing his background of wrestling Hall of Famers and performing in sold-out arenas.
MLW Fusion’s recent debut on Veeps marks a significant expansion, allowing free global access. Coffey called this a “massive” development, emphasizing MLW’s strong storylines. “MLW Fusion has what the pro wrestling world is missing. There are great ongoing storylines,” Coffey noted, highlighting the show’s fresh approach and the excitement it brings.
