Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed her views in an interview held in New York about President Joe Biden’s decision to run for a second term in the 2024 election. Clinton described this decision as a “terrible mistake.”
She elaborated on her statement by suggesting that Biden had initially hinted at passing the leadership onto the next generation by not running again, and she believes he should have adhered to that idea.
Clinton further argued that the Democratic Party would have had stronger chances if they had nominated a different candidate, implying that nearly “anybody else” could have been successful against the Republican contender, Donald Trump.
