Pro wrestling sensation Tessa Blanchard has parted ways with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Fox News Digital has verified the release was granted upon her request. Blanchard, currently associated with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), plans to comment on her departure on their YouTube channel soon.
Fightful Select initially disclosed Blanchard’s exit from TNA. She is widely acknowledged as a leading female wrestler, evident from her impressive rankings on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s lists, reaching No. 5 in 2019 and placing 92nd last year.
Blanchard’s wrestling career includes significant stints with Women of Wrestling, TNA, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. As a third-generation wrestler, Blanchard is related to notable figures in wrestling history—daughter of Tully Blanchard, granddaughter of Joe Blanchard, and stepdaughter of Magnum T.A.
Her groundbreaking achievements include winning the TNA World Championship, the first woman to do so, and securing the TNA Knockouts Championship. Recently, Blanchard teamed up with Victoria Crawford and Myla Moore, attaining recent victories over Harley Hudson and Jody Threat in different matches.
