Trump Hopes for Resolution in Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance

7 days ago 0

President Donald Trump recently shared his hope for a positive resolution in the search for Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of ‘Today’ co-host Savannah Guthrie. The case has captured national interest, with Nancy Guthrie disappearing almost five months ago.

Trump spoke briefly with reporters at Reading Regional Airport in Pennsylvania about the ongoing investigations being conducted by the FBI and other agencies. When asked if there was hope for finding Nancy Guthrie, Trump stated, “I hope they find her. That family has gone through hell.”

This development comes as the search for the 84-year-old woman continues into its 20th week. Savannah Guthrie has made emotional public appeals, asking for any information that could help locate her mother. She urged viewers during a segment of the ‘Today’ show, saying, “Somebody knows something. We are in agony.” A reward of $1 million has been offered for information leading to her mother’s discovery.

The search efforts remain active. A sign indicating Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance was placed by Madres Buscadoras De Sonora near her Tucson home. Law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, continue their investigations.

Recent reports have emerged about a second ransom note claiming Nancy Guthrie was killed shortly after being abducted. The note, obtained by Fox News, suggests she was “buried with nature.” However, the note did not demand payment, which experts find unusual for standard ransom communications.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos reported that multiple ransom communications have been analyzed, some deemed fraudulent, with others still under review. The authenticity of these notes is still under investigation.

Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance was reported in early February from her Tucson-area home. The ongoing investigation involves collaboration between multiple law enforcement agencies.

Savannah Guthrie has consistently assured the public of her commitment to finding answers, stating, “We love our mom. We’ll never stop looking for her, never.”
