East Potomac Golf Links is set for a major transformation starting on September 1. President Donald Trump made the announcement following a Sunday visit to the historic municipal course, accompanied by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, noted golf course architect Tom Fazio, and White House staff.
This ambitious project aims to renovate the century-old course. However, officials have yet to detail how the project’s rapid schedule will align with the necessary regulatory reviews they have committed to undertaking.
The announcement marks a significant development in the administration’s efforts to rejuvenate well-known public golfing locations. Yet, clarity on the integration with regulatory processes is still pending.
