An increasing number of mothers over 40 are experiencing intense hormonal changes. These changes can affect their daily lives significantly.
After Jennifer Havey gave birth to her first child in 2024 at 44, she found herself dealing with a wide range of symptoms. These included mood swings, unexpected bouts of crying, and difficulties with memory. She also dealt with periods of insomnia. Initially, Havey attributed these symptoms to the challenges of having a newborn and breastfeeding.
However, after her son turned one and she stopped breastfeeding, Havey hoped her symptoms would subside. Unfortunately, the mood swings, memory issues, and difficulty sleeping continued to affect her daily life.
