4 hours ago 0

Recent data from a Gallup poll reveals a significant increase in the use of weight-loss medications among U.S. adults. The poll, which included a web survey of 5,065 participants, shows that 11 percent of adults are now using these medications to aid in weight loss. This marks a notable rise from 3 percent in 2024.

More respondents, amounting to 15 percent, reported having used GLP-1 medications at some point to manage their weight. These medications, available in injectable and oral forms, have become increasingly popular in recent years.
