Heidi Klum Embraces Body Positivity Over Hollywood Beauty Trends

Heidi Klum distances herself from one of Hollywood’s latest beauty trends. As rumors swirl about celebrities using Ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs, the supermodel expresses no interest in pursuing this path.

Klum attributes her shift in perspective to her husband, Tom Kaulitz, who has helped her appreciate her body amid the perennial pressure to remain slim.

I’m not interested at all, Klum stated to Us Weekly regarding these weight-loss drugs. The 53-year-old acknowledges gaining weight over recent years and feels more comfortable with her current size compared to the ultra-thin image often expected in the modeling world. I’ve gained weight over the years. I’m no longer a size 24 jean. But I think with age, we look better when we’re not as skinny.

This change in attitude stemmed from her husband, Kaulitz. He encouraged her to eat more and embrace a fuller figure, challenging the industry’s norm of constant thinness. You would look better if you had more meat on your bones, he advised.

Kaulitz’s perspective resonated with Klum; she now sees value in being slightly bigger. Reflecting on past photos, she agrees with her husband’s viewpoint. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in February 2019, later celebrating their marriage aboard the luxury yacht Christina O. off Capri, Italy.

Despite her personal stance on Ozempic, Klum doesn’t criticize those who opt for the drug. People should do what they want. If you’ve always struggled with your weight, then maybe this is a great thing to try, she noted.

Klum believes self-worth and confidence are key factors in attractiveness, not necessarily cosmetic procedures like Botox and facelifts. What makes a person sexy is knowing their self-worth and knowing who they are, she stated. Focusing on authenticity over physical perfection leads to a more profound sense of beauty.
