BIDDEFORD, Maine — Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero, a young father dedicated to providing a stable life for his daughter, lost his life in a tragic incident involving ICE. On July 11, Durán Guerrero expressed his love for his daughter on Facebook, posting pictures and heartfelt words: “I love you, my beautiful princess.”
Two days following this touching celebration, Durán Guerrero was fatally shot by ICE agents during an attempted traffic stop. His sudden death left a void in his family and community.
A makeshift memorial was established in Biddeford, Maine, where community members gathered to remember him as a man with dreams of a better future. The community mourned a devoted family man whose life ended too soon, highlighting the profound impact of such incidents.
