Senator Darline Graham, a Republican from South Carolina and the sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, discussed her political goals in an exclusive interview on “Hannity.” She announced her intention to run for a full Senate term in November.

“He’s worked so hard for so long. I can’t let that die,” Graham stated during her first interview following Lindsey’s passing. “I know he cared about the people of South Carolina deeply. He worked hard for them, and I feel I can do that too. He taught me well,” she added.

“SEN DARLINE GRAHAM REVEALS WHETHER SHE WILL RUN FOR A FULL-TERM DURING ‘HANNITY’ EXCLUSIVE,” proclaimed the show.

Darline Graham Nordone spoke at a press conference outside the governor’s South Carolina State House office in Columbia. Governor Henry McMaster announced Darline would fill the remainder of Lindsey Graham’s U.S. Senate seat following his death on July 11. Appointed by McMaster, she will serve until January 2027.

Graham announced she would seek a full, six-year term. Serving as South Carolina’s first female U.S. Senator, she expressed a sense of peace about leading The Palmetto State. “It is a tremendous amount of pressure,” she remarked. “But I feel like I can do it.”

Diverging from her brother’s focus, which included the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Graham plans to concentrate on domestic issues affecting South Carolina residents. “Lindsey spent a lot of time discussing national security. I understand the importance of that,” she explained. “But I want to talk about what matters to the average person: the price of groceries, gas, health care, and insurance. Those are my concerns.”

Lindsey Graham passed away on July 11 at age 71 due to an aortic dissection caused by arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. “It’s been extremely tough,” Darline told host Sean Hannity. “He was everything to me, my rock, my brother, my mother, and my father.”

Since 2019, Darline Graham has served as a commissioner for South Carolina’s Commission for the Blind, managing a $90 million budget. “It was a passion of mine, but I have a servant’s heart,” she said. “One must have a servant’s heart for a job like that.”
