Drive-by Shooting Injures Three in Little Village

Chicago police reported a drive-by shooting that left three men injured Tuesday night in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

According to the police, the incident occurred shortly before 8:45 p.m. The victims were standing outside in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when a vehicle approached them. Someone inside the car began shooting at the men before fleeing the location.

A 27-year-old man was struck in the head. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he remains in serious condition. Another victim, aged 21, also suffered a head injury and was taken to Stroger Hospital, listed in serious condition. The third man, aged 22, was shot in the leg and is in good condition at Mount Sinai.

Police stated that detectives are actively investigating the shooting.
