Law Enforcement Addresses Perez Hilton’s Livestream Incident

Law enforcement responded to Perez Hilton’s Miami residence following concerns about his wellbeing during a TikTok livestream.

According to a spokesperson, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls about potential self-harm streamed on social media. Deputies located his residence and spoke with family members, confirming Hilton was inside alone.

In incidents of mental health crises or potential self-harm, deputies focus on de-escalation through time, distance, and communication opportunities. If no immediate threat is present, crisis intervention methods can lower the chance of a suicide-by-cop scenario and reduce injury risks for everyone involved, stated the spokesperson.

Deputies have tactically disengaged while still monitoring the situation, offering support to Hilton’s family. A source told Fox News Digital that Hilton was under psychiatric hold via the Baker Act with multiple superficial cuts. The Baker Act permits involuntary mental health evaluations when criteria are met, lasting up to 72 hours.

Hilton’s representative has not responded to Fox News Digital for comment. Earlier this year, Hilton was hospitalized due to severe sepsis and infections. He relocated to Miami with his mother and young children recently.
