Tyler Loop Focused on Improving Long-Range Kicks for Ravens

Tyler Loop, a sixth-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2025 NFL Draft, faced the daunting task of stepping into the shoes of the legendary kicker Justin Tucker. During his rookie season, Loop had a noteworthy performance, making 95.7 percent of his extra point attempts and hitting 88.2 percent of his field goals. Impressively, he achieved a perfect record with all 21 field goal attempts within 39 yards.

Despite these successes, Loop encountered difficulties with long-range kicks, converting only one of four attempts from over 50 yards. His sole successful attempt came from 52 yards. On Wednesday, Ravens special teams coordinator Anthony Levine Sr. commented on Loop’s progress in addressing this challenge during training camp.
