The team is hopeful that most of these players will recover by Week 1, as they face the Los Angeles Rams in Australia. Among the key players potentially returning is George Kittle, who is striving to recover from a torn Achilles suffered in the playoffs.
Kittle’s Return
George Kittle has expressed optimism about his potential return. “I have a chance [to play],” Kittle shared with reporters. He is focused on regaining top performance and is keen to practice in pads soon. His objective is to follow recovery protocols diligently.
When fit, Kittle is a top NFL tight end. Last season, injuries restricted him to 11 games, where he made 57 receptions for 628 yards and seven touchdowns. In seven of his past eight seasons, Kittle participated in at least 14 games.
Considering Kittle’s crucial role in San Francisco’s offense, the team is likely to be cautious. His full recovery is a priority before any return to competitive play.
