1 hour ago 0

New Orleans Saints rookie Brock Rechsteiner recently made headlines for his involvement in a training camp brawl with the Dallas Cowboys. Rechsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, displayed wrestling moves, including the German suplex, on Dallas players, drawing considerable attention.

A massive brawl broke out during the joint practice between the Cowboys and Saints, involving punches, thrown helmets, and WWE-style maneuvers. The incident occurred at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, La., on August 8, 2026.

This is Scott Steiner’s boy doing Rick Steiner’s German suplex and three, two and one, boom! He needs to just head to NXT right now and join Bron (Breakker) as the Steiner Brothers could return in this whole thing,

commented Pat McAfee during his show, referencing Rechsteiner’s use of classic Steiner wrestling techniques.

Brock Rechsteiner’s cousin, Bron Breakker, is rising rapidly in WWE and is scheduled to face Oba Femi at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.

While Rechsteiner attracted attention for his wrestling prowess, he received a six-game suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. The former Jacksonville State wide receiver accumulated 53 catches for 629 yards and seven touchdowns between 2023 and 2025. In his final year, he had 36 catches for 383 yards and five touchdowns.

Rechsteiner, alongside his brother Brandon, signed NIL deals with WWE last year. Brandon, a guard for the Colorado State Rams men’s basketball team, averaged 12 points per game during the 2025-26 season and recently announced his transfer to Kansas State.

Brock began his professional journey by signing as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans before moving to the New Orleans Saints.
