A Manhattan woman, Tabitha Bundrick, aged 39, has pleaded guilty to the deaths of three men whom she supplied with fentanyl-laced drugs. Her intent was to rob these individuals after incapacitating them. The incidents took place between April 2023 and February 2024, and the victims were deprived of personal items such as cell phones, sneakers, money, and watches, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
District Attorney Alvin Bragg stated, “The defendant knowingly killed three people by providing them fentanyl-laced drugs. As they lay unconscious, she robbed her victims and left them to die. In several instances, the victims’ bodies were found by their friends or family members.” Bragg emphasized Bundrick’s blatant disregard for human life in these acts.
Bundrick faces a sentence of 27 years to life for three counts of second-degree murder and one count of second-degree assault. Her criminal activities began on April 30, 2023, when she encountered 42-year-old Mario Paullan and his companion. Bundrick initially offered them soap and then proposed sexual services, leading them to an apartment she illegally entered. After consuming the drugs provided, Paullan’s friend awoke to find Paullan deceased and their possessions gone.
In a subsequent incident, Bundrick targeted Miguel Navez, 39, providing him with drugs at his apartment. Navez was discovered dead by his brother three days later, with his possessions missing. The third crime took place on February 25, 2024, resulting in the death of 34-year-old Abrihan Fernandez. Bundrick was seen entering and leaving Fernandez’s Upper Manhattan apartment multiple times, carrying large bags.
Bundrick’s sentencing is scheduled for October 6.
