On Monday night, deputies in Northeast Miami-Dade were handling a fatal hit-and-run case when a new development unfolded. A vehicle approached the scene, carrying a man who had been shot nearby, as reported by the sheriff’s office.
At approximately 11:42 p.m., the deputies were present at the site of the hit-and-run incident when individuals arrived with the injured man. The shooting took place at Zippy Coin Laundry, located at 14701 NE Sixth Ave.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded promptly, transporting the victim to HCA Aventura Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
