A couple known for their presence on TikTok faces serious legal charges after allegedly setting fire to an abandoned home in West Virginia. The fire, believed to have been started by Dakota Harper, 21, and Felicity Eatmon, 22, may have caused more than $10,000 in damages to a nearby church.
Charges and Court Appearance
The Kanawha County Magistrate Court charged Harper and Eatmon with first-degree arson and conspiracy to commit an offense. If convicted, they could face life sentences. Social media followers of the duo number around 28,000, reflecting their popularity online. Harper appeared in court recently, where his height of 3 foot 9 inches and weight of 43 pounds drew attention.
During the arraignment, Harper required assistance from an officer to adjust his seating. Eatmon, who often identifies as Harper’s fiancée in videos, stood at 5 feet 1 inch and appeared alongside him in court.
The Incident
The fire occurred at 11:15 p.m. on a Sunday night in Charleston’s West Side. Surveillance footage allegedly shows Eatmon handing Harper a piece of paper they subsequently ignited and placed inside the abandoned home. The home had no active utilities, and the embers smoldered into the following morning, according to reports.
The fire impacted the nearby Canaan United Methodist Church significantly. Complainants pointed out the extensive damage caused by the incident.
Legal Proceedings and Bail
Both individuals currently remain in custody, each held on a $10,000 bond. The case continues to draw attention as details unfold.
