Two men were shot and injured late Tuesday night in Miami. Police officers responded shortly before 10 p.m. to an audio alert that detects gunshots in the area.
Officers arrived at Northwest Fifth Avenue, between Sixth and Seventh streets, and discovered two injured men. Emergency services transported the victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The men, believed to be in their 20s to 30s, are in critical condition, according to Miami Fire Rescue. Authorities have not yet provided updates on their condition.
The investigation into the events leading up to the shooting is ongoing. Police have yet to release additional details.
