The San Francisco 49ers recently secured a 24-14 victory against the Denver Broncos. This win marked a significant achievement in the team’s early season campaign. For the first time in 21 years, a team has played their first four games without allowing a single sack. The last team to do so was the Indianapolis Colts during the 2005 season.
In the 2005 season, the Colts, led by Peyton Manning, opened with an impressive 13-game winning streak. They averaged 35.6 points per game. Although their postseason ended abruptly with a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the regular season remained a point of pride.
Currently, the 49ers top the NFC West standings with an undefeated 4-0 record. The team aims to extend their winning streak in their upcoming match against the Seattle Seahawks scheduled for next Sunday.
