Corey Pavin’s Support for Wife Lisa During Cancer Treatments

2 hours ago 0

Professional golfer Corey Pavin recently shared that his wife, Lisa, needs to return to the hospital for additional cancer treatments. Despite completing her final round of chemotherapy earlier this year, the cancer has persisted.

Pavin had initially announced in February that Lisa, age 52, had finished chemotherapy. On Tuesday, he disclosed through social media that she would undergo more cell-based gene therapy treatment.

Both Pavin and Lisa have not specified the cancer type she is facing. However, Pavin expressed hope for successful results from the new CAR-T infusion.

“Over the last two months and after multiple visits to The Mayo Clinic, Lisa is getting her CAR-T infusion today. We are hoping and praying that this will kick her cancer’s a–!”

Corey Pavin praised his wife’s courage during this challenging time. He also expressed gratitude to the medical team at The Mayo Clinic and to their friends for their steadfast support.

Public reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. Followers, including athletes like Troy Aikman, Kenny Lofton, and Teemu Selanne, offered prayers and encouraging words. Through this ordeal, Pavin has continued participating in golf events. He competed last month at the Sanford International in South Dakota.
