Sabrina Carpenter Shines in Sheer Dior Gown at LA Fashion Show

Sabrina Carpenter made a striking appearance at the Dior Cruise 2027 show, captivating attention with her choice of fashion. The 27-year-old pop star donned a sheer butter yellow Dior gown that highlighted her embrace of the naked dress trend. This event was held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where Carpenter’s ensemble commanded the spotlight.

The sleeveless dress was crafted from pleated chiffon, featuring a high neckline and a drop-waist silhouette. Embellished with oversized floral appliqués in yellow and white, the gown also incorporated a flowing, layered skirt. The singer wore white lace lingerie underneath, including a bra and high-waisted underwear that became part of the ensemble.

Carpenter accessorized her look with satin butter yellow peep-toe heels and a complementary Dior handbag, which was adorned with an oversized cream-colored flower appliqué. Her half updo hairstyle was tied with a white ribbon, further enhanced by diamond earrings that added a touch of elegance.

The fashion show featured Dior’s latest collection, inspired by Hollywood, under the guidance of creative director Jonathan Anderson. Although Carpenter is not an official Dior ambassador, she has developed a strong association with the label through frequent collaborations. This was evident earlier in the month when she appeared at the Met Gala in a custom Dior gown, highlighting vintage film elements with imagery from the 1954 classic “Sabrina.” The gown was characterized by a halter-style neckline, beaded sheer elements, and a slit tulle skirt, along with a flapper-style headpiece adorned with crystals and diamonds.

In addition to the Met Gala, Carpenter showcased numerous custom Dior looks when performing at Coachella 2026 under Anderson’s design vision.
