Recently, Tiger Woods’ private plane made a journey from Florida back to Switzerland. This development suggests Woods will continue his rehabilitation process overseas. His Gulfstream V left Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, on a Saturday evening and arrived in Switzerland on Sunday, according to Celebplanes.
Earlier, Woods was seen disembarking from his plane at Palm Beach International Airport on May 13. Many believed this indicated the conclusion of his treatment abroad. However, this appears not to be the case.
Though the reasons for Woods’ brief visit to Florida remain unclear, it aligns with the recent news shared by his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump. The former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump recently disclosed her breast cancer diagnosis. Vanessa expressed gratitude to Woods in a heartfelt social media post, calling him her “strength.” She posted an Instagram Story featuring a photo of them together, captioning it, “My strength through it all! Family and the closest people to me.”
Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump announced their relationship in March 2025. The golfer faced a two-car accident on Jupiter Island, Florida, on March 27 and was charged with two misdemeanors: DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Although Woods cleared 0.00 on breathalyzer tests, he faced a refusal charge for declining a urine test.
Four days following the incident and his arrest, Woods announced he would take a break from golf to “seek treatment and focus on my health.” By April 1, he received permission to leave the country for comprehensive inpatient treatment.
Woods has not participated in a competitive golf round since the 2024 Open Championship. His last professional cut was at the 2024 Masters at Augusta National.
