Lainey Wilson and her husband, Duck Hodges, are adjusting to married life as they make their public debut as a couple. Attending the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Wilson, nominated for seven awards, and Hodges reflected on their new life together. In an interview with Fox News Digital, the two shared thoughts on their recent wedding and new marital status.

“Yellowstone” star Lainey Wilson noted the unique elements of her engagement ring. Wilson expressed excitement about calling Hodges her husband, while Hodges admitted that the reality hadn’t fully settled in. “We got married a week ago, but it’s special,” Wilson said. “This feels like starting a new chapter, and I cannot imagine doing it with anyone else.” Their chemistry was clear as they recalled their personal wedding in Tennessee.

The “Heart Like A Truck” singer recalled an emotional wedding moment when she first appeared in her bridal dress. She shared a lighthearted memory of Hodges seeing her in the dress for the first time. Shifting to the ceremony, Wilson emphasized the significance of marrying in front of loved ones.

“It was a meaningful moment, and we were just thrilled to be together,” Wilson said. “It was a great time,” Hodges agreed.

Wilson and Hodges married on May 10 at The Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee. The couple discovered the venue while driving along Tennessee’s backroads. Spotting the venue on a billboard, they decided instantly.

According to Wilson, the cave’s natural setting was serene, with a waterfall and birds singing. Wilson arrived at the ceremony in a white horse-drawn carriage, walking down the aisle with her father. Wilson emphasized the ceremony’s personal touches, including a Cajun-inspired menu and a performance by Rebirth Brass Band.

Vogue describes Wilson’s gown as a custom Oscar de la Renta piece with cherry blossoms. “The cherry blossom stands for living in the moment,” Wilson mentioned. Hodges embraced a Western theme with a dark green suit, custom tie, and cowboy hat.

The couple privately exchanged vows before the ceremony. Wilson commented, “I’ve never seen Duck smile so widely.” Their first dance was to Muscadine Bloodline’s “10-90 (The Sound of Roses),” concluding the night with a sparkler sendoff.

Wilson and Hodges connected in 2021 through a blind date in Nashville, remaining close ever since. After Hodges proposed in February 2025, the couple appeared together at the ACM Awards. Their fashion and chemistry at the awards underscored their new chapter as a married couple.
