Stephanie Pratt’s Support for Brother Spencer Reveals Shift in Opinion

1 month ago 0

Stephanie Pratt, sister of Spencer Pratt, has changed her stance on her brother’s run for Los Angeles mayor. Once critical of his candidacy, Stephanie has now redirected her support towards his campaign.

In an email to Vanity Fair, Stephanie confessed, “I admit I was the first person to tell people that they were idiots if they voted for my brother.” She acknowledged she misjudged his efforts, stating, “Wow, was I wrong. He has spent every day since the fires finding the facts, the mistakes, the negligence, and uncovering the truth that they never wanted us to know.”

Previously, in a now-deleted social media post, she wrote, “Spencer has done great work for the Palisades. But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity.” However, her perspective has evolved as she witnesses his dedication.

“He’s just trying to stay famous and sell his memoir. Don’t be fooled,” Stephanie commented earlier.

Despite her initial reservations, Stephanie expressed concerns over Los Angeles’ current state, writing, “I’m worried about LA. I have no problem playing government but our city needs help.” Her change of heart also reflects the complexity of family dynamics and public responsibilities.

Spencer Pratt announced his candidacy in January, following the loss of his home in the Palisades Fire. He has since made strides in the polls as an anti-establishment figure. Polls indicate a competitive race with current Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and L.A. City Council member Nithya Raman.

In addition to Stephanie, Spencer’s campaign has garnered support from notable figures such as Paris Hilton, Dennis Quaid, Katharine McPhee, and David Foster.
