President Trump’s Health Report Indicates Strong Condition

1 month ago 0

President Donald Trump is in “excellent health,” according to a memo from his physician released after his annual physical. The examination took place earlier this week at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Navy Capt. Sean P. Barbabella, Trump’s physician, confirmed the president’s strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical health. Barbabella reported that Trump’s demanding schedule, including high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, supports his well-being. Both cognitive and physical performances were evaluated as excellent.

The evaluation, which included multiple diagnostic studies, lab tests, and consultations with 22 specialty providers, concluded that Trump is fully fit to perform his duties as Commander-in-Chief. Trump, turning 80 in June, stands 75 inches tall, weighing 238 pounds, with a resting heart rate of 73 beats per minute, a blood pressure of 105/71 mmHg, and oxygen saturation at 98%.

No major health concerns were identified in the report. However, the examination noted scarring on Trump’s right ear from an assassination attempt in 2024 and mild lower-leg swelling, which has improved over the past year.

The president underwent a neurological exam, scoring 30 out of 30 on cognitive screening tests. Barbabella also observed bruising on Trump’s hand, likely from frequent handshaking and aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention. Lab results showed no significant abnormalities.

Trump’s lifelong abstinence from tobacco and alcohol was highlighted in the memo. Currently, he takes Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe for cholesterol management, along with aspirin to prevent cardiovascular problems.
