David Gyuro, aged 29, spent his childhood riding alongside his father in a 1970 Pontiac Firebird. This car represents many memories for Gyuro, reflecting a deep familial connection.
When he was offered the opportunity to own the car in January, he eagerly accepted. His personal project involves restoring the car to match the condition seen in a 1978 photograph. This image captures his father, then a high school student, seated on the Firebird’s fender.
“It’s not fancy,” Gyuro remarked. “It’s not rare. It’s just special because of what it is to me and my family.”
