An art collective has unveiled another provocative display on the National Mall in Washington. Known for their mockery of President Donald Trump and his administration, this anonymous group introduced an installation with a global perspective on Monday morning.
Karina Medziute and Emma Semankova were seen engaging with the display, playing “Operation Epic Furious: Nuuk ’Em All” at the D.C. World War I Memorial. This particular work continued the collective’s theme of critique and satire, targeting governmental policies.
With more than a dozen installations delivered in the past two years, the collective’s activities have become known for their bold statements and direct engagement with political themes. Their latest piece brings an international angle to an ongoing domestic commentary.
