Famous actor Ben Stiller, widely recognized as a devoted New York Knicks fan, frequently attends their games courtside. On Monday night, he joined other notable figures like Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, and Tracy Morgan as they witnessed the Knicks secure their place in the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years. They triumphed over the Cleveland Cavaliers to close out the series.
After the game, Stiller actively posted on social media, highlighting his enthusiasm with a personal recording of the final moments. He included a broom emoji in his post, symbolizing the clean sweep, and shared a video of Mike Brown and Kenny Atkinson shaking hands at midcourt along with celebratory reactions from Knicks players.
Additionally, Stiller made another post at around 1 a.m. ET. He shared a screenshot of his phone lock screen featuring a photo of Karl-Anthony Towns, captioned: “It’s 1 a.m. KNICKS ARE EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS.”

The Knicks will now enjoy several days off to prepare for the NBA Finals, which kick off on June 3. They will compete against the winner of the Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder; the series is currently tied 2-2. The team advancing from the West will have home-court advantage due to a better regular-season record, so Madison Square Garden won’t host its first Finals game until Game 3.
