Brooke Hogan is speaking out against her family’s public disputes. The 38-year-old, daughter of late wrestling icon, has responded to her mother, Linda Hogan’s recent comments about their estrangement.
In a post shared to her Instagram Story, Brooke hinted she has evidence to defend herself. “This close to breaking out some screenshots – which are ONE of the many reasons WHY,” she wrote, addressing her mother’s claims.
Accusing her mother of selective memory, Brooke ended her note with a warning, “Final warning.” This response followed Linda sharing old family photos on Facebook, expressing her sadness over their relationship. “We feel hurt every day that she just tosses us aside …. like trash,” Linda wrote.
Brooke’s message indicates a different memory of their family history and suggests she is ready to reveal private communications if Linda’s criticisms continue.
I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents.
Brooke became well-known alongside her family on the VH1 reality series “Hogan Knows Best” which aired in 2005. The program documented her music career and life with her famous father, Hulk Hogan.
Their family dynamics shifted when Linda filed for divorce from Hulk in 2007. The divorce concluded by 2009. Brooke later distanced herself from her parents, clarifying that her reasons for disconnecting from each were distinct.
In a March 2025 Instagram message, Brooke opened up about her family issues, alleging she faced verbal and mental abuse since childhood. She did not specify who was responsible but noted the complexity of family abuse.
Brooke also mentioned being misled in defending her family’s behavior publicly. I’ve longed for a normal family, but it never came to fruition.
Despite their strained relationship, Brooke expressed love for her father after his death on July 24, 2025, due to cardiac arrest. Speaking to Fox News Digital, she reflected on their complicated relationship, emphasizing her love for him regardless of their past issues.
Brooke’s insights highlighted her belief she could have “saved” her father despite their differences before his passing.
